‘A Deeper Understanding of Yoga’  Study Course 2019 is now open for booking.

“The content covered during (the course) was accessible, engaging and provided so much intellectual nourishment and opportunity for reflection. The sessions were complemented with focus tasks each fortnight which encouraged and helped me look more deeply into my own practice and into my understanding of how I incorporate the philosophy of yoga into my own life.

Lainie’s extensive knowledge and her ability to relate the philosophy of yoga to a modern context, to make it accessible and relevant to each of the participants and to facilitate thoughtful discussion was excellent. In particular, the session containing the Antarayas (obstacles and solutions) was very powerful for me and influenced my practise both off and on the mat.

On a personal level, I took so much away from this course and I would most highly recommend it to anyone that is looking to further their own understanding of yoga and to further their own practice.” – Mandy, course participant 2018    Learn More
